Founded in 1980, the Centre d’Évaluation pour Alcooliques et Toxicomanes (C.É.P.A.T.) offers a variety of services specialised in expert medical opinions to help understand problems related to alcoholism, substance abuse and all other forms of dependance.


The Centre d’Évaluation pour Alcooliques et Toxicomanes (C.É.P.A.T.) offers a service of medical expertise specialized in alcohol and drug addiction  which is able to evaluate individual persons or accept referrals from different types of clientele:

The CÉPAT makes it possible to find answers to questions about the presence or absence of the illness and if so, the impact and consequences on the  behaviour or functional capacity of the person experiencing this type of difficulty.

History

Over 40 years of experience in addiction assessment

Cépat was founded in Montreal in 1980. In 1985, Doctor Jean-Pierre Chiasson took over the presidency of the Center and will maintain it until today. Over the course of the last few years C.É.P.A.T has acquired a first-rate reputation that permit us to compose clear legal-medical expert opinions that are customised to each individual case.
